Backstory: Bought a new mobile home. VA Inspector informed us that "the appraisal is done based on similar properties in the area and the actual has little to do with the appraisal".
Long story short, our house is delivered and we immediately discover 2 of our 3 main requests were not met. Our ceipings were raised, but our floor joists and wall studs are spaced at 24" not 16".
In our attempt to gather documentation, I came across VA Form 26-1852. This doc clearly states the requested floor joists and wall stud spacing. Also listed on this "description of materials" is a chimney and hand laid tile (neither of which exists).
What is the purpose of VA Form 26 1852 Description of Materials? Does it affect the appraisal?
