Nathan, I am kinda sad you have taken this route. Is it serving anyone that you could care less about a persons credentials and will just give leads to anyone who raises their hand. Mold testing is much more than running a couple air samples and turning them in.

Why would you do this? I know your a numbers guy, but your cutting your own throat in an attempt to be another Pro Lab. Take the money and run. Do it right and professional, not just throw crap on the wall and see what sticks. Real people have real problems and rely on the "mold Professionals" to be just that...professional.

Align yourself with the best and brightest and it will carry you far.

How about performing some EDUCATION to these people first and make them past some kind of test and hold them to some type of standard?

It sounds like Nathan is setting up things to help verify remediation by having inspectors lined up to help as needed. That does not automatically means that the inspectors here are low quality. I agree that there should be some standards, however taking air samples is definitely not hard to do.

Really, its not hard to do? Then tell me how you do it, step by step and which device your using for sampling.

I would like to hear how it is so easy to do....

Russell, I am aligned with the best and brightest! I don't know a single client of InspectorLab that I wouldn't have test my own home...I would assume the unqualified go to another lab.

Literally every one of our clients have been at the very least walked through the process by Dr. Shane personally if not trained by him in the first place. As you can probably guess, most of our clients at this point are also users of our other products (I.e. RecallChek, Warranty, etc.) and most of them, like you, were already doing inspections above and beyond standards before they added another level.

If you get an inspection from one of my clients, I personally guarantee your satisfaction and I will write you a check for a refund if they won't (see www.InspectionCentral.net ), and I send that message out to 800,000 agents monthly.

Likewise, our mold sample results are guaranteed. The only ones in the industry. We'll pay for remediation if we're wrong. Luckily we haven't had to yet, because we only deal with qualified inspectors.

I had one last month in Texas that wasn't duly licensed and wanted to send us a sample. We told him no. I can say most other labs would have accepted the sample and made a report (and the next one he called did).

You got it. I'm having a meeting with this group in the next couple weeks.

You'd have to be crazy to use anyone other than InspectorLab. Same day, guaranteed results, a great price, and the only lab that gives you online access to your reports forever.

I'm working towards the mold testing. I did get all the info I need from Cassandra. I'll be getting the equipment very soon. Once I'm all set, I will definitely do this.

Press Release 8.19.14
Carmel, Indiana

Green Home Solutions (www.GreenHomeSolutions.com), with over 140 franchises that specialize in safe and efficient enzyme-based Mold Remediation, Odor Control, and Bug Reduction, have determined that third-party mold testing, both pre and post remediation services, should be done by a third party and exclusively through home inspectors using InspectorLab (www.InspectorLab.com).

P. Nathan Thornberry, owner of InspectorLab, released the following statement:

"Green Home Solutions, like so many other remediation firms in the U.S. and Canada, have a huge problem when it comes to mold testing. The good remediators want a third party test, but those tests seem to have no standard to go by, and when a mold tester is doing interpretations themselves it gets even more complicated. Of all the labs in the business, we have the right experience level and science to deploy algorithms and review results to determine, conclusively, whether levels are "normal" or if growth is exhibited or if there is a clear problem. Green Home Solutions looked at our reports, just as other local remediation firms have, and they're ready to make a system wide change to ensure clients get a reliable, accurate, and standardized mold report. All of our clients are home inspectors, and I believe they are the best qualified for mold testing. Inspectors know how homes are put together and how they work- I wouldn't get a mold test from a non-inspector."

A website specifically for third party mold testing for mold remediation firms is under construction and will be launched in the next 30 days, and will be the exclusive source for pre and post mold remediation testing for Green Home Solutions at all of their US locations. Remediators and clients alike will be able to go to the site, pay for a mold test, and have the testing assigned to one of the over 750 mold testing home inspectors throughout the US covering over 70% of US zip codes, every major metropolitan area, and growing daily.

For more information on InspectorLab, visit www.InspectorLab.com or call 1-800-544-8156.

We received and delivered our first mold test...before the new site was even up! (you're welcome Craig in Colorado!)

Site will be up in the next week or two.
