Will InspectorLab offer water testing in the future?

We're debating that one heavily. I've always believed that a local lab is best for water testing, but I'm open minded.

I use to send water sample to other labs, but found it was a problem keeping the water cold during shipping. Even using the provided shipping container and ice block from the lab the water would sometimes arrive to the lab above the required temperature. I ended up locating a local lab for water testing and it's worked much better.

how can they test hot water? the bacteria will grow in shipment!

A huge market. Mostly FHA or other financing based for wells.

Depending on the range of testing, $150-$300+

NEWS: HUD no longer requires well water testing! ML-48 from 1995 confirms this.

Sux cause a lot of people take water for granted and don't want to spend $ to test if they are not req's.
