I will be honest and say that I'm not totally convinced about using thermal imaging equipment. However, I will tell you why I am posting to win the free TG165 Imaging IR Thermometer...in my next post.

Not all of them have it, and that's okay.

We had Peter Hopkins of United Infrared put together a couple of basics courses at http://www.HomeInspectionUniversity.com - I see the future of IR as both the ancillary service you need those certifications for as well as the diagnostic tool that should be carried on every inspection.

In the last 36 hours we've sold over 100 devices and they've been a mix of inspectors that are incredibly qualified buying $10,000 units, experienced users grabbing a backup E6 or upgrading to the E8, as well as new users just getting their feet wet with multiple options we have under $1000.

For those that want to take it to the next level, I strongly recommend Monroe Infrared and United Infrared. These guys understand inspection and the inspection business.

I will very likely bury both Monroe and United in students this year, so if you're interest get in touch with them and enroll in a course before there is a wait list.
