These defective furnaces are still out there in CA. I found one in an industrial building yesterday. This one is branded "Premier". These are hazardous and should be replaced. The key indicator it is a defective furnace aside from brand and model number is the unique "ashtray" sheet metal feature on the side. All are horizontal type.
