We are considering purchasing a drone but haven't really committed to it yet because of the FAA issues.

Nice work, Preston! Free advice for you; take it or leave it. I shoot all my drone video at a higher frame rate (60 frames per second) to get a smoother video. The Phantom 3 and Yuneec products can shoot at 1080p at 60 FPS all day long. It's actually better than 4k in most cases, especially from grabbing screen shots for the reports.

Also, I agree with Nathan that this is changing the industry. Most agents I talk to at inspections have never seen drone inspections performed. I tell them I use them on every single one as we're loaded with tile roofs in SoCal. I've even had some agents tell me sellers require drone inspections in their contracts.
