If you’re a first time home buyer, then you can get any kind of help in the buying process. You probably are not aware of technologies that exist for a home inspection. Thermal imaging can capture small problems in your home that naked eyes could never found during the home inspection. In residential thermal imaging, an infrared camera is able to produce images of invisible heat radiation that provide the inspector with exact temperature measurements if needed. The human eye sees shortwave and the Infrared goes into a long wave spectrum. With an Infrared Camera, you can see beyond the human eye and analyze images when inspecting a property for moisture, etc. There are many benefits of using infrared thermal imaging during a home inspection: • Electrical inconsistencies • Reveals hidden issues • Moisture intrusion • Area of heat loss • Additionally, an inspector can locate When you buy your dream home, make sure it doesn’t have hidden headaches by performing an infrared home inspection. By hiring an inspector who uses thermal imaging for a building inspection in Fl, you increase the chances of getting a superior home inspection. Infrared thermal insulation is a good addition to a visual inspection and doesn’t work against the need of an experienced inspector.

Do you also find this to be useful for determining why a ceiling is stained? I was told once that it was a good way to determine if a link was still active, but haven't had any personal experience with this myself.

We offer thermal imaging and also think its fantastic. I always want to offer the best inspection posssible with the latest technology. I think its also important though that they buyer/seller understand the limitations with infrared and not have unrealistic expectations.

Thermal imaging a great tool for home inspectors. My question is do you offer this free of charge with any home inspection or is this an additional charge?

Thermal imaging sounds like a game-changer for home inspections, especially for first-time buyers like me who might not catch all the little issues. It's pretty cool how it can pick up on things the naked eye can't see, like electrical inconsistencies or moisture problems.

If you're new to buying a home, thermal imaging during an inspection can really make a difference. It spots things you might not see yourself, like electrical issues, places with moisture, or spots where heat is leaking out.
