When I was selling my last home, I decided to go for a pre-listing inspection after hearing how beneficial it could be. It helped me identify a few minor issues early on, which I was able to fix before any buyers came through.
But I also worried about what would happen if a buyer backed out last minute. Fortunately, my agent was really proactive and helped me set everything up properly. They also guided me on avoiding unnecessary costs, like exp fees, which I didn't realize could add up during the process.
