Starting in the basement - flue is connected - looking into the attic - residue on the roof deck and finally on the roof - one thing was obviously missing - the flue gases were going into the attic and the roofer didn't have a clue!

HS!

I inspected a new constr CO'd house w/ natural gas furnace. Turned it on and poisonous CO came barreling back down the flue vent. Went on roof and found furnace flue vent cap missing and duct tape over the pipe!

So many new home builders just suck so bad!

and City Inspectors are even worse!

Wow! I guess it was covered up when re roofing? I wonder where that whole scenario went after the report was delivered (and I wouldn't dare ask if it were me lol)
