I will advise you to consult a professional plumber for better suggestion.
For sure, I agree with Mike. Ducts require a passage for the termination of moisture. One thing you can do is consult a well experienced plumber who can help you in making the separate connection between the duct and bathroom vent. A friend of mine has hired drain cleaning service NJ team a few weeks ago for drain cleaning and for the proper connection of his bathroom vent fan. You can also look for such team who provides overall service. Hope my suggestion helps you out.
