That looks awesome Tony!
Chad D wrote:I just reserved my room. For anyone else that has not done it yet, you better get a move on it. The Hyatt Regency does not have any available rooms after the ISG block is gone.
As the event gets closer, I'll be looking to do a meet up with my fellow inspectors. We had one last year. I remember Philo, Jim Hanson, Jim Van Loosen, and Pete were a part of it. The other guys that were there, I apologize I don't remember your names. It was a fun lunch and I want to do that again!

Count me in...I think my flight should be there early enough on Friday.
Looks cool...I just ordered one....thanks!
I'm in...Chicago. I'd like to bring my other inspector too....

Thanks for the offer...did you receive an exemption already? What was your wait time?
Thanks guys.

I submitted everything over the weekend...I'll keep you posted.
I started the process today...has anyone else done this and received an exemption?

If so...how long did that take?

I just booked my 220th inspection for the year (includes dedicated mold, radon, FHA/VA water tests). I am trying to plan a head for next year and thinking I might need to hire someone if it is going to increase like I think it is going to. This is my first full year in so I am not sure what to expect next year.

For any of those who have employees or helpers, do you go ahead and hire people in anticipation of a bigger year or wait to see what happens and hire when the time comes?

I do have a part time marketing guy and my wife helps with the books. I started using ISN this year and that has helped out too.

I think most of the increase is a direct result of office presentations and weekly visits. My guy visits 6-8 offices a week and I've picked up a ton of agents.

The best part is once an agent uses us...they usually use us again. I'm hoping to keep the momentum going.
Still a month left in 2015....and my biz is officially up 300% over last year. Did just 87 inspections last year and booked #260 and 261 today.

Thank you Nathan, Mike Doerr, Mike Crow, Matt Smith...I appreciate what you guys do.

Also got some great advice from Kris Svendsen, Jim Van Loosen
....and even Pete Campbell

Looking forward to an even bigger 2016!

He definitively knows his beers. And I had no idea what a "flight" was til Chad clued me in.
That looks great Greg! Very nice!
Greg....post some pictures of your van after the wrap is done. The mock-up looked pretty sweet.

Sounds good. Are you driving or flying in?

Flying...flight lands around 9:30 AM.
Chad & Pete....I should be there by Noon....I'll join you for "lunch" if you'll have me.
I'm looking forward to being able to mingle and pick the brains of some of the best and brightest in the industry.
