Whirlpool Microwave Labels

are rectangular with very small print and the model and serials are on opposite ends, making it very hard to capture both in a photo and still be legible.

Problem: 1.6M recalled units bet I think 1998 to 2001. The model # still exists, so they show a potential match, falsely alarming clients of newer units.

Anyone come up with an easy work-around?

RecallChek Follow Up

What is everyone doing when you get the email notification from RecallChek and it has a potential recall on it? Are you sending out a follow up email to the client letting them know, or just letting the generated email and report stand on its own? Was just curious if I should populate an ISN template for it.

RecallChek has resulted in over 150,000 FREE repairs.

When we came up with this idea in 2008, we never dreamed that the results for consumers, assisted by the Home Inspection Industry, would be so massive. Average repair is around $200.

That puts the total executed repairs at $30 Million. Incredible.

Sears Director of Product Safety: "RecallChek has Value"

A quote from the Director of Product Safety for Sears, after receiving a RecallChek report:

"...I feel the service [ RecallChek ] you (the inspector) are offering in regards to recalled products may have some value..."

In this particular situation, a brand new product was nailed as a "potential recall" simply by having similar model numbers, and the builder went to Sears for a clarification and got it from them and later us as well. If you want to know how much integrity an appliance retailer has, show them a RecallChek report. Sears is very serious about their supply chains and I'm happy to report after a very direct interaction that they care about their clients! We think you're valuable too Sears!
