Biography: As far back as I can remember, From as far back as I can remember, all I wanted to do was build and construct. I started out in a family friends landscaping company where I worked for numerous years learning horticulture, landscaping, and of course hard work! During this time I studied basic construction at a nearby technical college during my high school years, where I later finished my 2 year Carpentry Diploma. During college I framed new homes throughout the North Metro of the Twin Cities with a small family owned company. After college I wanted more of a challenge. I went to work for a large family owned remodeling company covering most of the Twin Cities based out of Bloomington, MN. This is where priceless knowledge was gained renovating all types of homes and commercial buildings. After nearly 15 years swinging a hammer, I realized my love for educating other about their home. I made a shift to the home inspection world in 2010 and have not looked back. I still enjoy working on many of my own remodeling projects, but no longer offer any paid construction services. My wife and I also have been landlords since 2004 when we purchased our first investment home. All of these components have helped develop my unique skills I bring to the inspection world.
